Schools in Barbados face rising electricity costs that limit resources available for students. By installing solar systems, we are making education more sustainable and resilient. Our project focuses on:
Installing solar panels in classrooms and labs for reliable power.
Reducing energy costs so schools can reinvest in learning materials.
Teaching students about renewable energy and sustainability.
This initiative turns schools into models of clean energy, preparing students to learn in a modern, eco-friendly environment.
The project aims to make education both sustainable and future-ready. Our goals include:
Powering 10+ schools with solar energy.
Reducing reliance on costly fossil fuels.
Creating energy savings that can fund books, computers, and better classrooms.
Inspiring students to embrace renewable energy as part of their future.
The bigger picture is to show how clean energy can support education while protecting the planet.
Barbados, like many island nations, faces high energy costs due to dependence on imported fuels. Schools are especially affected, often diverting funds from education to cover electricity bills. Bridgetown schools were chosen because solar can bring immediate financial relief while modeling sustainability for the entire community. By starting here, we can make both an environmental and educational impact.
Your contribution supports both clean energy and education. Here’s how:
$50 supports solar-powered lighting for classrooms.
$200 contributes to installing panels on school rooftops.
$1,000 powers a full lab or library with renewable energy.
Each donation makes schools greener, brighter, and more resourceful. Together, we can help students learn in an environment powered by hope and clean energy.
