We are installing solar-powered systems to bring clean and reliable electricity to over 500 households in Kitui, Kenya. Many families in this rural community rely on kerosene lamps and firewood, which are unsafe, expensive, and harmful to health. By providing affordable solar solutions, we are lighting homes, enabling children to study at night, and helping families live safer, healthier lives.
Our aim is to make renewable energy accessible to families who have never had electricity. With this project, we seek to:
Light up 500+ homes with safe solar energy.
Improve children’s ability to learn by providing study light at night.
Reduce indoor air pollution caused by kerosene lamps.
Promote cleaner, greener energy for long-term sustainability.
Kitui is one of the regions in Kenya where electricity access remains low, leaving many families in the dark after sunset. Without electricity, children struggle to study, small businesses close early, and families are exposed to health hazards from smoke-filled homes. This community was chosen because renewable energy here can transform lives overnight, literally bringing light where there was once darkness.
Your donations power more than just homes — they power opportunities. Here’s what your support makes possible:
$50 provides a solar lantern for one family.
$200 installs a solar home system that lights up multiple rooms.
$1,000 supports solar panels for a community center or school.
Every contribution lights up lives, enabling children to dream bigger and families to live healthier. Together, we can bring lasting change through clean energy.
