We are installing community boreholes to provide safe and reliable drinking water for over 3,000 residents. For years, families here have struggled with contaminated water sources, leading to health challenges and unsafe living conditions. By working with local leaders and volunteers, we are creating a sustainable water system that meets daily needs. This project is not just about clean water—it’s about restoring dignity, reducing preventable diseases, and giving children a better chance to grow up healthy.
Our goal is simple: to bring safe, clean, and accessible drinking water to every family in the Chittagong community. With new boreholes, residents will no longer rely on contaminated streams or unsafe wells. With this project, we aim to:
Reduce cases of waterborne diseases and provide clean water access.
Cut down the long distances women and children walk daily for water.
Create healthier, stronger communities for the future.
Improve overall hygiene and quality of life.
By completing the borehole installations, our goal is to transform clean water from a privilege into a basic right for the people of Chittagong.
Chittagong is one of the most underserved regions in Bangladesh when it comes to access to safe drinking water. Families here often rely on unsafe surface water or shallow wells that are prone to contamination. Children are the most affected, with high rates of water-related illnesses that hinder their education and growth. We chose this community because they’ve been left behind for too long, and access to clean water will make an immediate and lasting difference in their lives.
Your donation directly funds the construction of boreholes, installation of pumps, and training for local caretakers to maintain the system. Even small contributions make a big difference:
$20 provides safe water for one person.
$100 supports maintenance and training for the community.
$500 funds construction materials for boreholes.
Together, we can create lasting change and ensure no family in Chittagong has to risk their health just to drink a glass of water. Your generosity means fewer hospital visits, more children in school, and more women able to use their time for work and family instead of fetching water. Together, we can create a healthier, more hopeful future for Chittagong.
